These learning materials, developed in the SOLE Project (Leonardo da Vinci Programme), are organised in lessons/information and activities. They can be used in different contexts and with different learning methodologies:

supported self-learning,
virtual class,
collaborative learning.

Being the lessons/information self-consistent they can be used also in a self-learning mode.
The activities, on the contrary, require a tutor or a teacher that, on the basis of the answers sent, interact either with individual trainee or with the whole class.

The activities performed by the trainees are sent to a data base that can be enquired both by the teacher/tutor or by any learner. In order to identify her/his own learners' answers the tutor will provide the trainees with a code (individual or group) that will have to be inserted in the provided field.
The Units are not to be intended in a sequential order but for topic areas.
