The aim of the project is to develop a co-operation between institutions and organizations with experience in adult education and ODL in 9 European countries.

The Telematics for Teacher Training project supports and encourages over 4,000 teachers in building a new understanding of the potential for telematics in schools and universities through a major initiative across the European Union.

The aim of the CLEAR project is the utilisation of Open Distance Learning methods in enhancing the knowledge and skills of teachers in the use of fine arts, theatre and drama in the sensitive levels of education regardless of the educational subject matter and provide a pedagogical framework (including managerial and technical issues) to ODL providers, educational providers, teachers on how to create their own ODL material

The objectives are to develop IT training methods and guidelines for teachers at the European level which emphasize the educational rather than technological issues teachers need to understand, to establish an IT-information service for teachers and students on the Internet and to run a pilot demonstration project .

ManageLearn involves the creation of a selective bibliography and literature review on ODL aimed at conventional higher education institutions. An additional, linked activity is the development of a management tool intended to assist policy and decision makers in pedagogical and managerial issues concerning the use of multimedia telematics for ODL.

The objectives are to create ODL-literate school communities where both teachers and students are effective users of computer tools and practices, to improve the quality of existing learning environments, to develop new tools for the construction of mathematics, geography and music computerised micro-worlds, to apply the use of new technologies in the curriculum and to evaluate the learning/teaching processes emerging from the application of these learning environments.

The project aims at promoting the analysis of the tele-education experiences implemented at a European level. The analysis focuses on the different technological performances, the various methodological processes which have been developed and analysis of available technologies and tools for tele-education.

The "Young Researchers in Action" project aims at the development and application of a pedagogical framework in the field of meteorology, suitable for ODL's implementation to pupils aged 10-13 and in parallel to the provision of in service training to teachers in the field of ODL.
