Report 2
Map of Distant Training Management System

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The development of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and the evolution of flexible training systems generate a very significant offer of learning management systems adapted to various forms of distance learning: distance learning platforms.

Thus any actor involved in learning needs to acquire a general culture on the subject, on its functional and organisational level.
Indeed, the choice of offering distance learning cannot be reduced to a technical investment. This report will enable you to appreciate the correlations which exist between the cross functionalities of the platforms and the teaching methodologies.

It will more precisely help to identify the necessary human (specific competencies), organisational (team work) and material resources (specific software). The whole of these data will help those involved in distance learning to define objectives taking into account the resources and means available, an essential phase in the development of a suitable learning plan.
