WRITING TASK
Write about your town and send the report to your teacher.
- Say where your town is sited and say if it is famous.
- Can you find any attractive places in your town? (ancient buildings, picturesque squares, very large and strange buildings)
- Say if there are any parks and gardens and if they are large.
- Say something about the traffic: is it heavy? Are the roads always busy?
- What about the transport links? Are they good?
- Are there any popular discos or other places where a lot of young people meet?
- Is there anything famous in your town? (a building, a shopping centre, a lake, a factory, a square, a restaurant).
- Is your town very polluted? (think of the rivers and the lakes)
- Say something about its inhabitants.
