Back to the info&dir page You arrive at Russell Sq. Station, turn left and walk to Russell square.
A You will see the big Russell Square gardens in front of you, do not cross the road but turn left in Russell Square.
B Perhaps you want to change some money. There is a bank on the left after you cross the road coming from the left.
C Then go along Southampton Rd and turn right into Great Russell Street. The British Museum is the building at the end of the street on the right.
D If you want to buy typical British presents for your parents go back to Great Russell Street and there you' ll find a clothes shop right opposite the Museum.
E I think you must visit one of the best bookshops in London. Go behind the British Museum and look for Malet Street. Go straight to the end of Malet Street and you will find a bookshop on the left.
F When you walk along Malet Street you will see a long building on your right: that is he University of London.
G Before the bookshop, on the left there is a theatre: it is the Students' Theatre.
H You can buy stamps and send letters from the Post Office opposite the Grand Hotel, not very far from Russell Square Station.
